The Clashers project is presented by Vladimir Begunov (the musician, guitarist of famous Russian group “Chaif”) and Mike Petite (musician, dj ,producer). The first experience of djiing was gained in 1997 in one of small night-clubs in Ekaterinburg, Russia. During since 1997 for 2005, it has been made some mash-up tracks by Mike Petite, which have been supported by russian and foreign DJs and musicians. Actually some of these mash-up tracks was published as Unknown White Label. First joint jam-dj-sets with Vladimir Begunov took place in august 2005 – it is the official start of The Clashers Project. Shortly after they suggested to combine dj-sets with “alive” performance. It was mix of different music styles. The Clashers Project was met with approval. it received favorable comment in press. The Clashers make good use from funk, reggae, old school electro to breakz, electro, rock, tech, house, minimal + music material of the Clashers and others. Vladimir Begunov and Mike Petite – are actually the pioneers of Bastard-Pop, Mash-Up and Nu Rave styles in Russia, they are the most striking and individual represantatives of this music styles in Russia . Now the Clashers lays emphasis on development of these styles.
